Apogee Air’s goal is to provide Bay Area pilots an opportunity to pursue their advanced training without having to leave the state.
Our Services
Apogee Air is not a flight school nor a flight club, but a high performance/complex advanced pilot training center. At Apogee Air, we are dedicated to providing innovative training that enhances your goals as a pilot, whether that means working toward your ATP certificate and transition into the Captain's seat of a major airline, or becoming the safest pilot you can be as a casual flyer. Our flight line includes two Cessna 182Ps and a Piper twin Comanche PA-30B to ensure optimal flight training opportunities for all your advanced certificate and rating needs.
We offer a wide range of services that are designed to meet the needs of San Francisco Bay Area pilots and high performance/complex aircraft owners. Pilots with their PPL certificate can train with experienced CFI/IIs and MEIs who can work with you as you meet and master the necessary competencies and hours required to fly at the corporate, regional or Air Transport Pilot levels. For those pilots who are not seeking these career-related goals, we can help you build hours and increase your skill set to be the safest pilot possible. Once checked out, well-maintained, clean, and beautiful aircraft can be available for rent for both local and cross-country flights.
For high performance/complex aircraft owners who have equipment that is not being flown, we can provide a revenue stream that enables you to earn money "in your sleep." We will maintain your reservations and maintenance reminders so you don't have to.
UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY
Beginning October 12, 2026 for about two weeks, check-outs/multi-engine ground/flight training will be available by a highly qualified CFI/II/MEI at a significant discount ($250/hr rental for the twin), and $40/h ground/$75/hr flight training.
Our Team
Our team is made up of experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service. We work closely with local FBOs, DPEs, flight schools, mechanics, and organizations who understand the needs experienced pilots and aircraft owners have, and provide tailored solutions that exceed their expectations.
For non-local pilots we also provide a pilot discount at a local hotel for available rooms, discounted car rentals, and discounts at area restaurants.
